Bob Rosenschein

Welcome to bobr.com

I’m Bob Rosenschein — an American-Israeli tech entrepreneur, MIT computer-science grad, the founder of Answers.com (NASDAQ: ANSW) and, more recently, Equator.

Over four decades I’ve built products that bridged languages, cultures, and the early web—from the first Hebrew/English word processor for Windows to a one-click pop-up that put the world’s facts at your fingertips.

I believe it’s all about people. I like to write concise, no-nonsense essays on:

  • Radical Listening & Civil Discourse. Tools and mindsets for respectful, evidence-based conversation in a polarized world (the driving vision behind my latest venture, Equator).

  • Life Between Two Homelands. Notes on building and investing from Israel while staying plugged into the U.S. tech scene.

  • Tech & Start-ups. Hard-won lessons from bootstrapping, scaling, taking a company public, and selling it for $127 million.

  • AI & Future Workflows. How large-language models, real-time media, and smart interfaces are reshaping creation—and where the opportunities lie.

If you like sharp insights backed by lived experience — and the occasional war story from the early days of personal computing — please hit Subscribe. I publish a few times a month, focused on practical takeaways you can apply today.

Thanks — and see you in the inbox,

— Bob
